About Tarry Not Ministries

Our ministry is centered on spreading the Good News of the Return of Jesus the Messiah, and the Plan of the Creator God for all mankind to share in the rewards of Salvation.

Organize house churches as opposed to the non-Biblical congregational model.

Provide carefully curated news and analysis of current events for a deeper understanding of Biblical end-times prophecy and it’s present-day impact.

Provide comfort to widows, orphans and the poor in spirit, in the Church, which is the Body of Christ.

Our mission is the protection of and ministry to the Body of Christ, living as Christians on the model set for us in the Book of Acts, to study the Word of the Living God and examine current events in light of the Promise of the Return of Jesus Christ.

Our Savior is Jesus Christ.

He was a Jewish Rabbi of the line of David.

Crucified and Resurrected and now Stands at the Right Hand Of The Living God.

We believe that the New Testament, specifically the Book of Acts, are the model by which all men must live.

We humbly ask the One True Living God for forgiveness of our sins and the strength to change our lives.

I’ve read through several of your comments on and about many of the Preachers I have through the years listened to. I was born in a very small country town. I was dedicated at the alter at the age of 6 weeks, I was reborn and baptized (submersion) in my early 20’s. I was brought up in the Assembly Of God Church, and have attended other denominations such as Pentecostal, Lutheran, Methodist and Southern Baptist. I believe in the Trinity, meaning to me is The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I have found nothing but hate spewed on this site toward others who I have heard preach Gods word. Yes, some do preach about our Father wanting us to prosper, I believe as His children, He would want only the best for His children. Not that riches matter, they do not. My husband and I live in a very modest 3 bedroom ranch house, on a few acres in the same small town I was born in. I buy my clothes from Wal Mart, not Macy’s or any other high end stores because we live modestly as we earn modestly. We enjoy our small farm, we enjoy our lives as they are and feel greatly blessed in all that we have, mostly in our spiritual lives, but in our children and grandchildren and the country life we choose to live. I no longer believe that any one denomination is the ‘right’ one, that there is one more on the road to Heaven than the others. I’ve listened to Pastor Hagee, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, John Osteen, Joseph Prince and so very many others and I’ve found something that has touched me in my life by each one of these pastors. I find not fault in their preaching of the word they preach, and my great grandfather was a biblical scholar. He would be disappointed to think that one of his great grandchildren were spewing words of hate and discord about other pastors simply because they preach that God wants his children to prosper. I believe God does want our wants and needs to be filled, first our spiritual needs, and then of course why would He not want us to have enough to pay our bills, take care of our children, to enjoy our lives? What kind of parent doesn’t want the very best for their children? If you want a site to preach about your faith, your beliefs, and have much to share, why not share your own views and leave out the hateful things you see in other pastors? After all, we are not their judges, we are not made to listen to them, they surly don’t need anymore of our money, as they have done well. Maybe they have been blessed, maybe they do teach some things that aren’t exact, but what about the things they do teach that are correct? Are you the one that is exact and correct in all things? I don’t believe so, for we are all human, and we all fall short of the glory of God. Why cast so many stones in public at so very many pastors?

  3. Hi, do you have a church? Are you a pastor? I am really trying to find a church where the meat of the word is spoken and not diluted. I’ve visited several churches in tampa and they all are dead, with the exception of one but still lacks empowerment. I want a church (group of people) teach from the word and relate it to current events so that we as a church can prepare ourselves. I can’t find that anywhere. Please tell me if there are any true biblical sound churches out here. Thank you.

It’s so hypocritical, that you give your disdain for the preachers ‘trying to wrangle money from God’s people’… yet you still have on your site [please donate via paypal]. If you are soo righteous, why do you need to ask for donations, since you are not 501C3, just like the pharisee prayed that [Thank God I am not like those preachers……]

    • Brother Joshua,

      Thank you for your comment.
I always welcome the opportunity to engage in intelligent and spirited debate, however I will make an exception here.

This is a discernment ministry. As such, we try to understand the methods used by false teachers and false prophets in manipulating people into focusing on worldly gain through fear, greed, and selfish desire.

I never ask for ‘tithes’ and I never promise that giving money will result in ‘seeds of prosperity’. As a matter of fact, nowhere on this website will you see an appeal for money outside the PayPal button.

The PayPal button is only for those who feel that they would like to contribute to the funds necessary in paying for this website (It’s not free, we pay for this out of our own pockets) and since we believe that 501c3 designation for a church or ministry is an abomination, we would NEVER seek that status.

I hope that answers your question.

May God richly Bless you and give you peace,

      In Jesus Name,
      James S. Berge
